Halal Food Policy
As TAT Nişasta San. ve Tic. A.Ş. and Tezkim Tarımsal Kimya Sitrik Asit facilities, leading organisations in the starch and citric acid production sector that contribute to the development of the Turkish economy, we consistently meet our customers' requests and needs on time, with the desired characteristics and in accordance with Halal Product requirements.
For our Halal-certified products, we commit to the following:
- To produce our products with high efficiency and at the most economical cost, in accordance with the OIC/SMIIC1 standard, the Turkish Food Codex, our quality and food safety management system, Islamic Sharia, and our customers' Halal food safety requirements, during the design, development, and production stages.
- To carry out production in hygienic conditions, in accordance with Halal production conditions, with high efficiency and at the most economical cost.
- To prevent and manage Halal food safety hazards that may be encountered in all processes from our suppliers to our consumers; to ensure the control and continuity of applications.
- To enhance the competence of our employees by providing them with Halal training and to ensure their effective participation in improvement efforts.
